It’s certainly good news for credit unions that costs are decreasing to “acquire” new members, but the big challenge in increasing the wallet share per member still remains.  Lower-cost digital marketing channels can be effective in brining in members, but old-fashion relationship building and needs-based selling in the branch will more than likely have the best results at achieving highly profitable account holders.
